Naming an ingredient is easy — everyone does it. These are the amounts, taken from the manufacturer's composition sheet, which lists a percentage and a CAS number for every line and totals exactly 100%.

Water and glycerin make up most of it, as with almost any serum. Dipropylene glycol and 1,2-hexanediol carry the rest, xanthan gum thickens it so it does not run down your neck, and hydroxyacetophenone is the preservative.

The botanicals are green tea leaf, Japanese knotweed, turmeric root, liquorice-derived glycyrrhetinic acid, chamomile-derived bisabolol and heartleaf.

Menthol is where the cooling comes from. That is a sensation on skin — the way you know the serum went where you aimed it, and nothing more than that.

What none of this means.

This is a cosmetic. Publishing a formula is not the same as promising a result, and we are not making one: nothing on this page says the serum grows hair, regrows hair, stops shedding or treats hair loss.

It is made in Guangdong in a facility certified to ISO 22716 by TÜV Thüringen, valid to September 2028. The safety data sheet classifies the mixture as not hazardous, with no skin irritation.
